• AMLR (Anti-Money Laundering Regulation)The Anti-Money Laundering Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2024/1624, is the EU single rulebook on preventing money laundering and terrorist financing. It sets directly applicable rules on obliged entities, customer due diligence, beneficial ownership, reporting and a 10,000 euro cash payment limit, and applies from 10 July 2027.

• TranspositionTransposition is the process by which EU member states adopt national laws to give effect to a directive by its deadline. Regulations apply directly and need no transposition. The Commission monitors national measures and can open infringement proceedings for late or incorrect transposition.
