SEPA Request-to-Pay (SRTP)
SEPA Request-to-Pay (SRTP) is a European Payments Council scheme that lets a payee send a payer an electronic request to pay a set amount, which the payer can accept or decline. It is a messaging layer only: once the payer accepts, the payment itself usually goes by SEPA credit transfer or instant credit transfer.
