Whistleblowing
Whistleblowing is the reporting by workers of breaches of law they learn of at work. The EU Whistleblower Protection Directive (EU) 2019/1937 requires firms with 50 or more workers to run internal reporting channels, follow up within set deadlines and protect reporters from retaliation. Financial services rules add specific channels.
