Intraday credit
Intraday credit is credit that a central bank or a commercial bank grants for less than one business day, so that a participant can make payments before incoming funds arrive. In T2 the Eurosystem grants it free of interest against eligible collateral; if it is not repaid by the end of the day, it becomes overnight credit at the marginal lending rate.
