Supply chain finance (reverse factoring)

Supply chain finance, also called reverse factoring or payables finance, is an arrangement in which a bank pays a buyer's suppliers early, at a discount, on invoices the buyer has approved, while the buyer pays the bank on the original or a later due date. Since 2024, IFRS requires companies to disclose such supplier finance arrangements.
